La Via Lucia (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides one-on-one, small group, and equine-facilitated experiences nationwide, both in person and remotely. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it, regardless of which U.S. state you live in.

This policy applies to our website (lavialucia.com), our scheduling and client management tools, and any sessions, calls, or experiences booked through us. It does not cover the practices of third-party sites we may link to.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

•      Contact information — name, email address, phone number, mailing address.

•      Scheduling and booking information — appointment times, session type, location preferences.

•      Information you share with us — details you disclose during discovery calls, sessions, or written intake, which may include personal, relational, business, or sensitive information relevant to the work.

•      Payment information — processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.

•      Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through our website and booking tools.

•      Communications — emails, messages, and call or video session recordings, where applicable (see Section 4).

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

•      Schedule, deliver, and follow up on one-on-one, small group, and equine-facilitated experiences.

•      Communicate with you about your sessions, our offerings, and updates you’ve opted into.

•      Process payments and maintain business records.

•      Improve our website and the experiences we offer.

•      Comply with legal obligations and protect the safety of our clients, horses, and staff.

We do not use the content of what you share in sessions for marketing, publication, or any purpose outside of delivering and improving our work with you, without your explicit, separate consent.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

•      Service providers — scheduling, payment processing, email, and customer relationship platforms (such as Go High Level) that perform services on our behalf, under agreements that limit their use of your information.

•      Affiliated companies — La Via Lucia is part of the RTB ecosystem of companies, which includes RTB Capital Group, RTB Advisors, and RTB Wealth Advisors. If you are referred between La Via Lucia and an affiliated company, or engage with more than one, limited contact and engagement information may be shared between them to coordinate your experience. The substantive content of your sessions is not shared between entities without your consent.

•      Legal and safety reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect the safety of a client, the public, our horses, or our staff.

•      Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, client information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

4. Cookies, analytics, and call recording

Our website and booking platform may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. These tools may include analytics services that collect information such as pages visited and time spent on the site.

Calls and video sessions booked through our scheduling platform may be recorded for quality, training, or record-keeping purposes. Where a session may be recorded, we will inform you in advance and obtain your consent before recording begins, consistent with applicable state law.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our booking tools.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and tax records, and comply with legal obligations. Session content shared in confidence is retained only as long as necessary for continuity of the work, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have rights under state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and

similar laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah. These rights may include the right to:

•      Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

•      Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes

affecting how we use previously collected information will be communicated directly where required by law.
